How to Downgrade to a Free account

If you want to cancel your subscription, you can do so directly in the app. After canceling, your account will switch back to the Free plan. Follow this guide to downgrade your YCBM account to the Free plan. 

  1. Log in to the YouCanBookMe account you want to delete.
  2. Click the chevron arrow next to your email in the top right and choose Plan & Billing.
  3. Click Cancel subscription so that your subscription plan will stop renewing, and your card on file won’t be charged any fees. If you still have time remaining on your subscription, you can enjoy access to all the paid features until it expires. If you’d like to remove access to those features right away, just reach out to our Support team. Please note that there won’t be any automatic refunds or credits for the unused time (you can review paragraphs 12.5-12.8 from our refund policy here).
  4. Finally, you will need to update your booking pages. Please choose one booking page to keep online, ensuring it has a maximum of 7 booking form questions and just one Appointment type if you're using this feature.  
  5. For the other booking pages, turn them offline by clicking the three dots in the top right corner and selecting "Set offline" for those pages.
  6. Next, let’s head over to the Integrations page. You can do this by clicking the initial icon in the top right corner, then going to Integrations, or you can simply click here.
  7. Choose one calendar connection to link to your online booking page, and disconnect the other calendar integrations by clicking the three dots.
  8. Lastly, if you’re using Zapier or Hubspot, don’t forget to remove those integrations as well.
  9. Please note that the following feature will no longer work:
    • Padding between bookings 
    • Calendar Managed availability
    • "Reminder before booking" and "After appointment ends" emails and SMS
    • Limit bookings
    • Promo codes and vouchers

  1. I downgraded to a Free account. Am I eligible for a refund?
    • It depends. Per our Refund policy here, if you subscribe to a monthly, 12 month or 24 month subscription plan and decide to cancel your subscription plan within 30 days of your initial subscription date, we will refund the full amount of any sums already paid by you.
