Block bookings based on email address

You have three options to manage who can schedule time with you: blocking free domains, specific emails, or specific domains.

This feature is available on Professional and Team plans.

In this article:

Block free domains

This feature is currently set at the booking page level. When you select that option to only allow business email addresses, anyone who tries to schedule time with you using a free email domain will be unable to do so.

  1. To activate this feature, head to the Booking Form tab of your booking page settings.
  2. In the Email address field, you'll see a checkbox to "Only allow business email addresses".

These are some of the domains that are blocked with this feature. You can view the full list here.

gmail.com aol.com  mail.com
yahoo.comcomcast.net  inbox.com
hotmail.com
tutanota.com   protonmail.com
outlook.comicloud.com  gmx.com

Block based on specific email address

This is an account-level setting so it will prevent bookings by the listed email addresses on all booking pages on your account. On Team accounts, only Owners are able to create a blocked list.

  1. To add email addresses to the blocked list, head to your Account Page > Blocking emails and domains.
  2. Enter each email address individually and hit enter after each one. Be sure to "save changes".

Block based on specific domains

As with blocking based on email addresses, this is an account-level setting so it will prevent bookings by the listed email addresses on all booking pages on your account.

  1. On your Account Page > Blocking emails and domains, you can enter a domain in the format @domain.com. Anyone who tries to make a booking using an email address with that domain will be blocked with the message "Please enter a valid email address".
